Trane Technologies Acquires Gradius, longstanding Thermo King and Frigoblock dealer for Belgium and Luxembourg
Global climate innovator Trane Technologies (NYSE: TT) and its industry-leading Thermo King brand, a leader in sustainable transport temperature control solutions, acquired the Gradius Business of Equans NV from Equans. Gradius is a longstanding Thermo King and Frigoblock dealer serving Belgium and Luxembourg since 1999. The acquisition is effective June 1, 2025.
Gradius, previously Axima, has represented Thermo King in Belgium and Luxembourg for more than 28 years. The business had been part of the privately-owned, French multinational Equans since 2021. As an exclusive dealer of Thermo King and Frigoblock for Belgium and Luxembourg, Gradius is responsible for the sales, installation and after-sales service of refrigeration units and accessories, in addition to maintenance contracts and telematics solutions.
With the transition, Gradius joins Trane Technologies’ Thermo King business in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The Gradius team will continue to serve the Belgium and Luxembourg markets – now as a company-owned dealer known as Thermo King BELUX, and as employees of Trane Technologies. The team will serve customers from existing and new locations in Belgium and Luxembourg. Refer to thermoking.be for additional location details.
